Undiscovered Lands: The Digital Vegetables Guide to Building Worlds - ebook
The prompt for all the projects in this ebook was “Undiscovered Lands”. Some designers chose to elaborate on this idea by creating a more literal location, while others explored what that prompt could possibly be in less straight-forward terms, all of which are unique takes of the same theme. It’s important to note that even though everyone worked with the same constraints in regards to the prompt, because everyone has different interests and unique lived experiences, the projects all came out looking so diverse. When you draw from what you know, your work then, becomes your own and unlike anyone else.
This ebook is filled with tips, approaches and thoughts on different elements of the design process that could possibly be of help to you, the reader. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a student at the start of their journey, or somewhere in between, I encourage you to apply this knowledge to your own practices and to start that project you’ve been thinking about exploring.
